but not for long . .. . it’s time for another adventure.
How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.
so applicable to many of the new friendships i’ve formed on this exchange. haven’t even left and i miss you guys already.
this semester has been:
crazy. BEAUTIFUL. exciting. scary. nerve-wracking. AWESOME. a whirlwind. adventurous. torturous. confusing. PRICELESS. revealing. educational. rewarding. hot. sticky. sweaty. freezing. wonderful. joyous. traumatizing. REMARKABLE. fast. colorful. CULTURAL. new. hilarious. MEMORABLE. unbelievable. quite the journey. unforgettable…
but the beginning of so many beautiful relationships.
In exactly two weeks, I’ll be sitting at home in LA wearing my Club 7 HKUST ‘11 Exchange Student T-shirt. I’ll reminiscence about where I was just two weeks ago.
Bummed to have to face reality soon.
EPIC NIGHT OF ORGANIZED “CRIME.” HKUST FALL 2011—A FOUR-MONTH LONG SH*TSHOW, BUT ONLY THE BEST KIND OF SH*TSHOW YOU COULD EVER IMAGINE.
Don’t be dismayed at goodbyes. A farewell is necessary before you can meet again. And meeting again, after moments or lifetime, is certain for those who are friends. — Richard Bach (via brbgoingabroad)
wish i had discovered this at the beginning of the semester. could have used this as a coin-flip to decide whether or not to go out… #exchangestudentproblems
